Swiss Army Watch Design
When I made my watch design I used Corel Draw. I used basic tools as the fill, rotate and shape. However, I learned more complicated techniques as "convert to curves", cusping, and adding nodes. I had the most trouble with spacing but I quickly overcame that wit peer help. If I were given a week more, I would change the cross at the top of the face.
CBC Logo
I found this assignment the easiest of all of them. It dealed a lot with circles. I mainly used "quick trim" to complete this logo. I found the use of guides very important for this design. I had most trouble making a perfect circle. This was resolved when I started using guides. If I were given a week more to complete this I would perfect my outer circles.
Apple Logo
This logo was very different than the others. I had to use another new tool that I did not before. This tool being the combine tool. I also learned the importance of outlines and dropshaddow. I liked this logo because I got to experiment with different colours. I had trouble making the colour fill but I found help and resolved it. If I were given one more week I would darkened the R mark.
BMW logo
This is not my best design. I had trouble making the fills for the blue portions and dividing the quarters of the inner circle. I got some help but I still don't fully understand how to complete this logo. If I were given one week I would redo it with more help.
